Hi!
Wow, its been quite some time since I posted last. I guess I really don’t have too much to report! Work is going well for me- I just finished up a hefty travel schedule (Minneapolis for 3 weeks, Orlando, FL for 1) and am enjoying some time at home for a few weeks before it picks up again. Unfortnately, we had two gals leave the agribusiness team at PSB so what I thought was going to be a light travel schedule, now looks to be the same as last year. Oh well.
All is well with the Braun team. They are nearly complete with their first project and Mike and Doug have three under contract (soon to be eight) with one closing in the next week or so. Its picking up for them, so they’re on the prowl for some new land and are looking in the Ohio area. They’ve also broken away from ReMax and are now their own full-fledged team- Braun Realty. We’re proud of all the work they’re putting into making this a huge success.
The dogs are good - Winona’s loosing some pounds and Kenai’s just fine where he’s at. Both were at the 100lb mark about a month and half ago. Too heavy for Winona and just right for Kenai. We’ve been taking them out to the dog park a lot lately and have really enjoyed it. The last time we were out, it was snowing and pleasant. We thought we’d be the only ones out due to nasty road conditions, but there were several others there including two husky-malamute mixes whom Winona and Kenai bonded with instantly. They followed each other around in a little pack
Kenai is friendly with every dog and just searches for a new one to say hello to and chase around. If there were a cruise director at the dog park, it would be him. Winona’s friendly too for the most part. We find it works best to bring her in on a leash, then let her off once she’s gotten to know the other pups there. She operates off her leash better than on- called leash aggression, which I learned from my expert dog behaviorist/trainer sister-in-law. No, that’s not an official title, but it ought to be
Its cold! Old man winter decided to real his ugly head our way after giving us some very pleasant and unseasonablely warm temps. It’ll be bitterly cold by Monday. Ick! At least we only have about a month and half left of a real winter, so we’ll all live I think.
Toodles!
